Hiking
The Chiesa Sant'Anastasia is the largest church in Verona. The mighty Gothic brick building was built by Dominicans from the 13th to the 15th century. Originally there were two churches built by King Theodoric, the Chiesa Anastasius and the Chiesa Remigio. In 1261 the two churches were taken over by the Dominicans and expanded over two centuries of work into one mighty church. Although the impressive facade was never completed, the new Chiesa Sant'Anastasia was inaugurated in 1481.
