The Simons family park had already been laid out when the Simons Villa was built around 1900 on a small embankment at Gartenallee 14 under the direction of architect Magnus Schlichting.
For decades, cloths were manufactured in the factory buildings behind the manufacturer's villa, which made the Simons name known in Europe.
After the decline of the textile industry in Neumünster, the buildings were demolished. The Simonssche Villa was restored and is now a large practice for oral, maxillofacial and facial surgery.
