For the descent I would definitely recommend the stairs. These are also very steep, you have to be a good walker and need to be fit enough. At the bottom there is a deserted bay for swimming, but the sea is also very wavy here. We made our way back through the gorge (not recommended downhill!). You can hardly see the path, there is a lot of vegetation and you have to climb in places.

The way down the stairs is strenuous but doable, make sure you wear sturdy shoes! Below is a small, deserted village with a small bay for swimming. It is very wavy, which makes it difficult to get into the water. But you can jump into the water from the jetty, which is fun and there is also a ladder. We spent a few extremely quiet hours down there in the water and in the sun, hardly any people. But nothing else either, so bring drinking water!
