The two fountains in the fountain courtyard behind the Kursaal have been bubbling again since the beginning of 2017. The fountain by the wall is the Wilhelmsbrunnen, the fountain by the Kursaal is the Daimlerquelle. Both fountains are mineral water and are also approved for drinking. The Daimlerquelle is considered a healing spring, however. The water should therefore not be drunk regularly in large quantities. It also tastes very salty. The Daimlerquelle fountain is colored red (which can also be clearly seen in the photos posted) - the water probably contains a lot of iron.Feel free to try it or fill yourself a bottle. The two springs taste different. I didn't like it at all, though.

There is free mineral water from two springs here. The water from the Wilhelmsbrunnen is reddish and very rich in minerals; you can drink it, but not a lot at once. Real Cannstatters also give it to their plants and flowers, which really appreciate it. The Daimlerquelle, on the other hand, is classified as medicinal water and is very salty. You should (and can!) drink a sip of it every now and then.
