The castle is now a hospital. It's very beautiful to look at. The castle grounds are exceptionally well-landscaped. A walk around the castle is highly recommended. There's a very nice café with a very inviting interior and terrace. It's open until 5 p.m.

The Wernicke Castle Park Run is recommended for marathon preparation. Precise timing and a varied four-lap half marathon are also available. Other Nordic walking distances, such as 5 or 10 km, are also possible.
