Lovely elephant family in the park not far from the beach. In February there was already water there and the newly laid surface around the elephants was like quicksand. Otherwise a lovely park with lots of places to sit and have a picnic.

The green elephants in Pärnu are an unexpected sight that makes you smile. With their lush, artificial grass covering, they almost seem alive, as if they had just stepped out of a surreal fairytale park. The installation conveys a certain playfulness and fits well into the relaxed atmosphere of the surroundings.As you walk past, it is a good idea to pause for a moment and take in the idiosyncratic scenery. The elephant family is symbolic of togetherness and nature - even if nature has been interpreted in a creative way here. It is nice to see how art meets public spaces and inspires the imagination. Perhaps living plants in the installation would have made an even more organic feel, but that would probably also require regular maintenance.These little surprises along the way make discovering new places exciting and give Pärnu a charming, unexpected touch.
