The sumptuous villa belonging to the merchant family Ammende with a large garden was completed in 1905. The facades and interiors of the house are rich, rich in detail and varied, yet stylishly distinguished.
After the First World War, the family went bankrupt and the villa was sold to the city of Pärnu. The house had a summer casino and a club. Today the villa has been restored to a luxurious hotel restaurant.
