The sacred building in Neuendorf, which was first mentioned in a document in 1285, was built in the second half of the 13th century. Around 1870/1880 it was "highly remodeled" in the round arch style, as the Dehio manual notes. The interior of the church was also exchanged. In 1938 the parish had to decide to shorten the church tower "in love and loyalty to their fatherland". This allowed aircraft to use the approach path to Fürstenwalde Airport more safely.
