Right next door is the Himmelmann Park with the Fröndenberg funnel. The "high-performance funnel material catcher" of the former Himmelmann paper factory was built in 1952 and is 14 meters high. The funnel was used to filter waste water from paper production in order to recover the fiber, glue and fillers that were produced.

Here the Ruhr is already quite a river. In the picture upstream, on the right is the Schwitten power station, which can be visited on request. In the photo downstream, the railway line into the Hönne valley crosses the Ruhr.
