Tips
The former Oese sewage ponds have been converted into a new NSG in a natural way in recent years. In addition, the oese was widened to protect against flooding. However, Oesteich 1 is closed off to water birds, dragonflies and rare plants. The other part of the ponds and the circular path are intended for local recreation. The circular path that runs completely around the ponds is also suitable for wheelchair users. A viewing/observation tower is also to be built. Unfortunately, so far only two privacy walls have been used for observing waterfowl.
