The Catholic church was designed according to the drafts of the diocesan building councilor Carl Kühn (1873 - 1942), who as a church architect remained true to his favorite style, romanticism, almost all his life. It was built between 1947 and 1949. The church appears larger from the inside than it appears from the outside. The nave is perceived as "homey" by the wooden ceiling, the high gable roof and the small rainbow windows and conveys a sense of security - a small, rural parish church.
