The climb is great fun for children aged 5 or 6 and up and (apart from 1 or 2 more exposed spots) is relatively safe to do, as long as you don't just let the little ones run but accompany them and hike upstream.
The tour is strongly discouraged in the rain as the sloping rock slabs turn into slides.

The mechanical erosion of the fast, swirling waters created deep, narrow hollows that connect the pools. These pools were given poetic names such as "Bain du Cerf" (Deer Bath), "Bain de Diane" (Diana Bath), "Bouillon de la Chaudière" (Cauldron Bubbles), "Bain des Naïades" (Water Nymphs Bath), "Bain de Vénus" (Venus Bath), "Bain de la Loutre" (Otter Bath), "Bain d'Hermès" (Hermes Bath)
