Hiking

Nürtingen is located about eight kilometers northwest of the Albtrauf in the foothills of the central Swabian Alb. The old town is located on a former Neckar valley, which reaches the city area from Neckartailfingen in the southwest, flows past the Neckarhausen district to the east, then skirts the core city to the west and finally leaves the Nürtingen city area again through Zizishausen in a northeasterly direction between Unterensingen and Oberboihingen. Between Oberensingen and Zizishausen the Aich flows into the Neckar from the left.
