Visitors experience how school was taught over 100 years ago.
The classroom, complete with slate and slate pencil, looks just as it did over a century ago. Even a portrait of Kaiser Wilhelm adorns the room. Guided tours are available for groups and school classes.
The museum also showcases the local history of Himmelpforten, from the history of the monastery and traditional crafts to domestic life.
