Hiking
Traveling from Litija to Čatež, or Levstik's path, is a hiking route organized according to the travelogue and program work of the Slovenian writer Fran Levstik from 1858. The work is important because of the literary program that Levstik involved in describing the journey between Litija and Čatež. In memory of this journey, every year, on the second Saturday in November, a hike along the Levstik route is organized. It was marked in 1987 and runs along two routes, the northern one is 22 km long and the southern one is 21.5 km long.
