There is a story connected with Mlaka: the giant Čatež once walked here; wherever he stepped, a footstep hit. Some of them were later covered by water, and thus quite a few puddles were formed in the vicinity of Čatež, one of which is right on Zaplaz, very similar to the footprint of a giant's foot.
