Franconian inn culture can be experienced in the cozy Bräuschänke in a historic ambiance. The brewery was founded here in 1712, and since 1833 it was owned by the Kitzmann brewing family until Peter Kitzmann closed it in 2018. The brand rights were taken over by Kulmbacher Brauerei, and beer production was relocated to Kulmbach. Five types of Kitzmann beer are still produced, including the Bergkirchweihbier.

In the Kitzmann private brewery there are Franconian beers, brewed according to the Bavarian Purity Law of 1516. Cellar beer, Edelpils or Helles Lager, through to wheat beer, everything is there and more, namely ... Schnitzel and pork knuckle in a restaurant with rustic furnishings and a classic beer garden .
