The 20 meter high observation tower can usually be climbed on Sundays and public holidays from June to August 3:30 pm to 6:00 pm and in April, May + September, October from 1:30 pm to 4:00 pm. On a clear day you can see up to 40 km over the Mulde valley from the viewing platform. There are also guided tours of the "Wachtelberg" nature reserve.
