Hiking
were grouped into 6 guilds (farmers, butchers, bakers, marshals, tailors
and winemakers). These guilds had the purpose of representing their own interests
and to regulate their profession. Each had their own house
Called "Poêle" and used for gatherings. The "Poêle" of the winemakers' guild
dates from the 16th century. Above the door you can see three sickles as symbols
the work in the vineyard, which at that time was one of the main activities of the city.
