Here you can walk across a lovely jetty into the lagoon and swim and snorkel in the shallow water. The bay is naturally separated from the rough Atlantic sea. You can see fish here, and on the other side you can see Santa Lucia. On a clear day, you can even see as far as São Nicolau. A stop for a swim here is always worthwhile.
