Located next to the N-340 road, on a small rise in a private urbanization, striking between houses, it is the tower that overlooked the beaches of Chilches. This tower is of Arab origin, although it was remodeled between 1497 and 1492.

After the Christian victory in Granada, Chilches and its two towers were divided between the nobles who had fought in the battle. The inner tower was destroyed shortly afterwards, while the tower on the coast has been preserved to this day. This tower stands on the coast of the town of Chilches and dates from the 16th century.
