The hustle and bustle and the many different goods are simply impressive. The market has everything to offer, especially when it comes to clothes, but also jewellery, fruit, vegetables and many many street kitchens. A great experience, especially because the people are not intrusive and one can be discovered in peace.

This market hall was built between 1935 and 1937 by French architects in the Art Deco style. The entire spectrum of East and Southeast Asian goods is on offer, especially copies of Western market products but also household items and food.
