One of the few buildings by Antoni Gaudi outside of Barcelona

The Episcopal Palace of Astorga (Spanish: Palácio Episcopal de Astorga) is a remarkable building designed by the Catalan/Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí. It was built in the Catalan-modernist neo-Gothic style. The palace was mainly built between 1889 and 1893 on the site where the old building had previously been destroyed by fire. The building is characteristic for the use of white granite stone in the facade, which symbolized the white of the episcopal robe. Although the palace was not completed entirely according to Gaudí's designs, it remains an important example of his unique architectural style and a major tourist attraction in Astorga.

The Episcopal Palace of Astorga is a building designed by the Spanish architect Antoni Gaudí, who was the greatest exponent of Catalan modernism. It is located in the city of Astorga, a relatively small distance from León, where Casa Botines is located. Construction took place between 1889 and 1913.
