Mountaineering
The Eng is one of my favorite areas in Bavaria. Great view of the Karwendel. I like it much better than from Mittenwalt or from Achensee.

Mountaineering
Easily accessible with the mountaineering bus from Lenggries, but not cheap despite the Bayern ticket, as € 6.30 can be paid. As a single person from Munich with the Bayern ticket, this makes a total of € 37.60. The Karwendel ticket is a bit cheaper, paying 31 €. ATTENTION: The bus drivers usually leave 1-2 minutes earlier, I was allowed to experience yesterday, arrived at 5:29 p.m. and drove away right in front of my nose, although the scheduled departure was 5:30 p.m. :(
