The new promenade in Swinemünde on the island of Usedom actually existed before 1945 - but the entire newly built area was destroyed in the Second World War. Today, many shops and food stands line the promenade in Świnoujście. In 2011, the promenade with a cycle path in Świnoujście, Poland, was extended by almost four kilometers and now extends via Ahlbeck to Bansin. With a total of 12 kilometers, the promenade is the longest of its kind in Europe. The promenade along the resort architecture worth seeing is provided with illuminated footpaths and cycle paths, green areas and leisure facilities.
