The beach entrances have been modernized and there are showers and changing rooms. Around the middle section of the beach there is a modern lifeguard station (Ratownik), a Polish version of Bay Watch. During the season the entire beach is monitored by lifeguards. The beach stretches to the west pier - there is also a dog beach. There is no nudist beach on the Polish side, but the Ahlbeck nudist beach joins directly to the west after the former border.

A beautiful promenade with many souvenir shops and food stalls. Delicious the soft ice cream offered everywhere. Worth seeing also the water games with spring fountains. Otherwise overcrowded to tourists and also everywhere construction sites.

Świnoujście has a beautiful and quite long promenade with many houses of resort architecture. This promenade leads (across borders) via Ahlbeck and Heringsdorf to Bansin. It is about 12 kilometers long. It is also called "the longest promenade in Europe".
Compared to Heringsdorf and Ahlbeck, there are some special features in Świnoujście. On the one hand, there are the numerous kiosks selling food, drinks and souvenirs. On the other hand, there is a small forest between the promenade and the beach. In Świnoujście, that sand is washed up, which is taken from other parts of the island by the sea (as in Koserow, Ückeritz, etc.). The beach started earlier just behind the promenade, today there are 200 meters between the promenade and the beach there and there. The sea is thus getting further and further away from the Swinemünde promenade.
