There are a maximum of 12 spaces (applies to people and bicycles). What we didn't know: near the entrance there is a ferry timetable with a small basket containing the plastic tickets. You can only get on board with a ticket (the ferry costs are then paid on board). So you should get there early or, if necessary, you have to wait until the next ferry if the ferryman has put the tickets back in the basket when it leaves.
