Tips
Actually intended as a slob, it mainly refers to men who in medieval Giessen removed the faeces that were attached to the outside of the houses in the old town. Using the poles, the buckets could be removed and taken out of the old town. Because of the smell, this activity was postponed to the night hours. The mud was used, among other things, to fertilize the nearby fields
