The new St. Martin's Church was consecrated in 1495 and was named after the place.
1687/88, a new tower was added to the church, it is preserved to this day.
The organ from 1870 comes from the Werdauer organ workshop by Gotthilf Bärmig, a student of Urban Kreutzbach from Borna.
Around 1980, the church was extensively renovated and opened the tower button. In it were various coins from 1606 as well as documents and documents on local and church history.
