Refuge with barbecue area Kälberweidfelsen Präg. Distance with parking 700 m. Access to the hut blocked off with a barrier. It can also be hiked from the “Altes Rathaus” car park (Präg) via the pasture trail to the Kälberweidfelsen. In summer the living takes place outside, the grill (no wood available) often becomes the focus of summer activities. Fountain with running water (no drinking water) available. Summer lounger with a brilliant view of the Präger valley.

Hiking

The Kälberweidfelsenhütte is a beautiful, spacious hut, freely accessible. Next to it is a fountain, bench, lounger and information board on the formation of the Präger glacier basin. The view is phenomenal!
At the hut there is a lovingly designed mini house with schnapps inside.
The beautiful pasture trail from Herrenschwand to Präg leads past the hut.
