This monument was dedicated to Arnold II (IV) von Bentheim-Tecklenburg-Steinfurt (*1554 in Neuenhaus; †1606 in Tecklenburg). He was Count of Bentheim, Tecklenburg and Steinfurt, Lord of Wevelinghoven and, through marriage, Count of Limburg.
