The Ermita de Nuestra Señora de Villaverde is a historic chapel located in Ardales. The chapel was built in a strategic location between the Tajos de Almorchón and the Mesas de Villaverde, where the Mozarabic city of Bobastro once stood. The current chapel was renovated in the 1960s.

The chapel is located in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by steep cliffs and natural formations. Near the chapel, anthropomorphic tombs dating back to Mozarabic times have been found. The chapel is an important religious and historical monument in the region.

The chapel is the location of the annual mass of the Virgen de Villaverde, the patron saint of Ardales, which is celebrated every year on September 8th.
