St. George rises on a hill above the leash. The church has a 25 meter high west tower with a 7m × 7m surface made of late medieval quarry stone with some very small windows reminiscent of loopholes - possibly St. George was once a fortified church. The present nave - 23.5 m long, 10.5 m wide and 6.75 m high - was built in 1818/19 in the classical style. Inside, the segmental ceiling made of wood, the late Classicist pulpit altar and the ceiling painting from the period around 1900 noteworthy (Wikipedia).
