Kastelberg Snowfields Trail

There are two springs on the way, which can also be seen as sources on the IGN map.
Other than that, the path is phenomenal. I saw chamois and horses this morning.

Beautiful path with great views. For my taste with the best here around the Kastelberg. I also walked around and there is a lot of nice, but the view from this hillside and the path itself in the countryside is great. You can combine the path with Rainkopf or Altenweiher the lake below, etc. The trails on the Route de Crete are also beautiful and have views, but this part is the most beautiful. The pictures give the panorama of the surrounding mountains and the view only insufficiently. Where this starts from marked path you can park directly below on the Route de Crete. But you can also park at the Auberge Hohneck and then start walking here.
