But the uphill section is also recommended. There's little traffic, and the initially somewhat steep climb smooths out nicely (mostly a pleasant 4-5%).
In the upper third, near the Bösingen sewage treatment plant, the hill drops briefly, allowing you to gain momentum for the final, steeper section just before entering Bösingen.
