    The legend of the Johannistal

Many hundreds of years ago stood in the Johannistal
For the benefit of devout Christians, a church is narrow and narrow.

The believers of the area, they were flowing here to God,
He often implored his blessing in bitterness.

As once for the evening, just on St. John's Day,
To praise the Lord's praise, the crowd has united,

Then it started to flash, it thunders, the storm howls
The church bell tolls by itself, the rooster crows on the tower.

It even quakes the divine house in its joints
And it sinks into the earth together with the Beter crowd.

When the morning dawned, the mist of Flor
There was a dark black bog instead of the church.

And out of the marsh you could see the church spire,
The legend has come from days gone by.

Still on St. John's night for the midnight hour '
Listen to the organ sound and sing deep out of this marshy throat.

The spirits are of the former believers who are there
Have sung God's praise. They still sing it today.

      I'm not sure if there's really a whole chapel buried ^ ^
