The Steigerwald center is on the outskirts of the beautiful town of Handthal with good restaurants below the Stollberg castle ruins. The concept and philosophy of the Steigerwald Center are to make sustainability tangible through the example of forest management and wood use. The Steigerwald region with its natural resources is to be preserved and further developed. Free admission.
Opening times: April to October:
Tuesday to Sunday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. November to March: Thursday to Sunday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
