Early 2017, this "wedding heart" was inaugurated by the symbolic yes-word between two toddlers, Mauro and Marthe.
The idea to place this heart (here) arose during a visit to Kranska Gora, the alpine village in the northwest of Slovenia, with which Waasmunster became a twin in 1997. There is a similar work of art there by a beautiful lake. Park Blauwendael seemed the perfect location to install a similar love heart in Waasmunster.
