This wooden pedestrian bridge is the Mühlgrabensteg!
It spans a small branch of the Wörnitz, directly in front of the eastern city wall. Built in 1979/80 - renovated in 2015.

The Wörnitz is an approximately 132 km long left and northern tributary of the Danube.
It first flows south through the municipality of Wörnitz through a meadow valley flanked by wooded hills and, on this route, takes in the Ampfrach and the Zwergwörnitz from the right. At river kilometer 115.62 in the Feuchtwangen village of Reichenbach, a gauge measures the flow. From the medieval town of Dinkelsbühl begins a southeast-facing section to the edge of the Nördlinger Ries, where many of the tributaries sometimes feed ponds in close succession.
