Today, we finished by visiting Gubigstein. We walked the section in different groups. The entire route started from the Grubigbahn mountain station, first to the sub-peak and then on to the main summit. Past the Wolfratshausener Hütte (stopped there and highly recommended!) and back down into the valley

After the tour to the Zugspitze, due to the weather, we chose to descend by cable car to Ehrwald. From the valley station of the Ehrwalder Zugspitzbahn, we then took a leisurely "cool-down lap" to the parking lot of the Ehrwalder Almbahn. Nice route for cooling down and ending a great hiking day.
