Today, members of the Museum Association of the City of Forst (Lausitz) e.V. put the singer's bench back in place. The area was significantly enhanced with sculptures made from the tree remains by a woodcarver from Klein Jamno. It has become a real gem. Thanks to all donors!

The bench was originally erected in the late 1950s/early 1960s by singers from the Forster Cloth Mills Choir. The bench was destroyed by a tornado in May 2022. In front of the bench, on the remaining tree trunk, is a plaque with six QR codes for songs sung by Forster choirs. If you want to avoid the summer sun, it's best to sit on the bench in the early morning or late afternoon.
