.. Above the Waldangelbach lies the castle Waldangelloch from 1206 on a spur. Only the outer ring wall with outstanding towers and the reconstructed foundations of a building have survived from the complex. The entrance is still via a ramp and is flanked by a tower. Originally there were at least three buildings in the main castle, which were surrounded by another wall. In the 19th century the main castle was completely demolished. The tower stumps were provided with a half-timbered tower and a roof.
