The Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior: An inscription was found: "The Byzantine general Nikephoros Phokas came here in the year 961 AD." It was built in the early Christian (pre-Byzantine) period between the 4th and 7th centuries (330–726 AD). Its feast day is August 6.
