"Zum Schultheiss" was the name of the elegant restaurant with a garden, music pavilion and
social rooms and the associated defeat of the brewery, which housed the house until 1943. The restaurant was a central meeting point for associations and guilds of blacksmiths, locksmiths and carpenters. After the war, Schultheiss was expropriated and the post office moved into the building. The main post office
said goodbye after 50 years.
