The Dutzower See is part of the Schaalsee and forms the northern bay.
This trail leads along the east bank of the Dutzower See through beautiful nature. Unfortunately, there is not much to see of the lake itself. Only at the northern tip there are some nice corners with lake access.

Hiking
Today you can hardly tell that the patrol road once ran here. The panels were removed soon after the border was opened, along with the fence. The birch trees that often grow along the edge show where the car ditch once ran. Due to the soil disturbance during the demolition of the border, the light-loving trees were able to sow here.
