The parking lot is located in Gleißenfeld. The route is somewhat exposed, making it a recommended practice climb for advanced beginners who want to venture into higher altitudes. Evening climbers will be rewarded with a fantastic sunset if the weather is right. A worthwhile alternative for the descent is via the Sollgraben. The trail leads along a forest road with a gentle gradient to the parking lot and can also be walked.
