Hiking
Ascent via the forest road is very easy, even in winter. Currently (12/2020) no snowshoes are needed to get to the alpine hut. Even when the hut is closed, it offers protection from the wind and you can make yourself comfortable on the benches behind the hut. A toilet is also available and can be used in winter. (Thanks for that!)
