September 10, 2022 - Beautiful holiday complex in Salzburg. Spacious and very well maintained. The dining room with its white arches is interesting. From Radstadt or Altenmarkt you can walk to the castle, or cycle along the Enns. Wonderful and recommendable for school country weeks and school ski courses

Tandalier Castle is located in the village of Schwemmberg, part of the municipality of Radstadt in the Austrian state of Salzburg. The castle's history dates back to 1519, when it was first mentioned as the Tandalier estate. In 1569, an existing farmhouse was converted into an unfortified Renaissance castle. The building changed hands several times in the following centuries, including the Counts of Schernberg.

The renovated Renaissance castle in Salzburg's Ennstal is 856 m above sea level on the outskirts of Radstadt. The place can be reached on foot in about 30 minutes. Built in the 14th century, it combines a medieval ambience with the most modern facilities. The children stay in 4- to 6-bed rooms. In the castle there are a number of lounges, a very well equipped gymnasium, a bouldering wall and a disco.
