The so-called "City of Stones" is a rather extensive area between the base of the Sassolungo and the last ramps towards the Sella Pass where trees and rocks of various sizes coexist on the same meadows. In this real natural spectacle it is possible to pedal, walk or climb.

The Steinerne Stadt is an arrangement of many boulders north of the Sellajoch. You can get there from the Sellajoch or from another direction from the Comici hut on easy hiking trails.
