As you'd perhaps expect, biking the pass from north to south is no small matter. Passing up by Small Water Crag, the pass is extremely steep, and you'll no doubt be carrying your bike for vast swathes of the climb, if not all of it.

The reward, though, is an utterly gorgeous descent down past Kentmere Reservoir. Not nearly as technical as some, but very fast and pretty challenging all the same.
